Hey Betsy,
Still looking for ruhbarb. Got a few places to look this weekend. But it should be in season or really close to it. Maybe we'll do some research on it and I'll grow you some next year. I like the blog and have a couple of questions.
1. When you talk about "sommersizing", do you have to use her specific products or can you replace them with others? ( I use 1/2 splenda and 1/2 sugar. I kinda' have to wean myself off the sugar... I'm addicted!!)
2. This is more of a comment... I like the recipies... You need to teach me how to do this stuff...
I don't know if Kenny told you but, I had a cardiac check up last monday and I lost (TADA!!) 7 lbs in about 1 1/2 months. I all but stopped drinking sprite. He also told me that if I would loose a little more weight he could, get this, take me off my blood pressure medicine. But he also thinks I have a thyroid problem. So I have to go see Count Dracula again. But, I do need to loose some lbs and I know the success that you have had in the past and are having now ( Kenny tells me everytime you loose weight, he's so happy for you) that I think I want to follow your lead. If it's ok. I have tried diets and killing myself with exercise. All that does is leave me hungry and sore. You know what they say, associate yourself with successful people and you become successful. I need to stop chatting and get on with it. (You just don't know how nice it is to talk to a female, I am surrounded by too many men, all the time! haha)
